2009 Cougars Football League News
Registration
Registration to date has been very successful for the 2009 Cougars Football League!! We will accept registrations, subject to availability, until September 7 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cougar Nation, spread the word!!
To register, you must print and fill out (i) the registration form; (ii) OFA insurance form; and (iii) media waiver form on www.chatham-kentcougars.com. Submit all forms with a cheque for $185 payable to Chatham-Kent Cougars Football Club.

Cougar Players
The 2009 Cougars Football League has started. Players should have received calls from their coaching staff to announce practice times. If you have not heard from your coach please contact Jim Redford at (519) 355-0004.
PeeWee and Atom Equipment
Equipment will be handed out at the Chatham-Kent Athletic Centre (Cougar Barn) on the following dates:

Equipment will only be given out to players with all necessary paperwork complete (registration form, media waiver form and OFA waiver form). Forms can be printed on-line at www.chatham-kentcougars.com or forms will be available at each equipment handout.
Players not providing height and weight measurements will be asked to provide that information when receiving equipment.
Tyke Equipment
Tyke equipment handout is scheduled for Monday, September 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No alternate dates have been scheduled as of yet.
Game Schedule
The game schedule will be finalized once fields have been booked.
Atom and PeeWee pre-season scrimmages are tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 7 at the Chatham-Kent Athletic Complex with regular season games commencing September 13.
Tyke pre-season scrimmages are tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 13 at the Chatham-Kent Athletic Complex with regular season games commencing the weekend of September 19/20.

Cougars Football League is proud to announce that all fourteen minor teams have sponsors for the 2009 season. Sponsorship is still available for the Cougars Football League annual program.
