St. Francis Xavier University Coach Chris Bertoia Coming to NFL/CFL Clinic


The Chatham-Kent Cougars are proud to welcome the Line Coordinator, Strength & Conditioning from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia to the NFL Clinic. Chris will be assisting and recruiting our JR Travel Players.

A little bit about Chris Bertoia: This will be Coach Bertoia’s second season as the full-time assistant coach, and third overall with the X-Men. Originally from London, Chris was a four year starter and OUA All-Star offensive tackle with the dominant Waterloo Warriors football program of the late 1990’s. With his help, the Warriors appeared in four consecutive Yates Championships, coming away victorious in two of them (1997, 1999). Coach Bertoia previously coached with both the London Beefeaters of the CJFL, Catholic Central High School, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School in London High School Tier 1.
