Cheerleading

The Cougar Cheerleaders cheer at our Spring/Summer Football Games in Chatham starting in late May to Early August. Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings, but may be changed per the coaches.

Shawna Bradshaw will be the head coach. We also have many student coaches that have returned to the program to give back to the team. Our Club feels very fortunate to have Shawna returning this year!!

About Shawna Bradshaw

Shawna joined the Cougar team in 2009 as a co-coach with Adrienne. She was a High School cheerleader in Guelph and enjoyed being trained by the Western Mustangs at the time. Her background includes competitive cheerleading and 8 years of dance. It is great to get back into teaching and training the young cheerleaders of Chatham-Kent. Shawna enjoys Coaching the Cougar cheerleaders and showing them that in a short amount of time they can learn a number of cheers, stunts and then pull it altogether and cheer on the Cougar Football Teams. Shawna is a Homeopathic Physician and specializes in a Family practice here in Chatham and Pediatrics in London.

Recommended Ages: Grade 6 to Grade 12+

No Cheerleading Experience is required

Coaches enjoy working with anyone who has gymnastics or competitive dance experience, but not mandatory
